Most of our concerts take place in the Church of St John the Baptist, Buxton. Built in 1812 in the Regency style by the 5th and 6th Dukes of Devonshire, the church has impressive architecture, a beautiful interior, exceptional acoustics and a four-manual William Hill organ. An ideal setting for concerts as well as a thriving place of worship, the church hosts many cultural events during the year as well as celebrating a Sung Eucharist service every Sunday with the St John’s Church Choir.
